Marilyn Jean Tarricone, 86, passed away on July 7, 2025. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Marilyn was born in the Bronx, NY, to Pasquale (Pat) and Louise Fasanella. She graduated from James Monroe High School and worked at Teacher's Insurance and also gave piano lessons. In 1961, she married Lorenzo (Larry) Tarricone. They lived in the Bronx and Bayside, NY, before moving to Eastchester, NY, in 1976. Marilyn raised two sons, Lawrence and Paul, and her greatest joy was family, including her parents, siblings and grandchildren. Later in life, she also volunteered at the New Rochelle Public Library, the Burke Rehabilitation Center, and sponsored a Native American child for many years.
Marilyn was predeceased by her loving husband Larry and her sisters Rosemarie and Eileen. She is survived by her sister Joan, brothers Michael and Edward, son Lawrence (Dawn) and their children Christopher, Bryan (Samantha), Kevin and Carley, and her son Paul (Wendy) and their children Michael and Peter.
The family will receive friends on Friday July 11, 2025 from 4-8pm at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. Eastchester. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday July 12, 2025 at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church in Eastchester. Burial to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery.
