Marilyn Joanne (Olson) Wilcox, age 91 of North Branch passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Fairview Lakes Hospital in Wyoming.
Marilyn was born in Weber, Minnesota on November 26, 1933 to Alpheus and Helen (Steinbring) Olson. She was the fifth of six children. Marilyn married Ronald Wilcox on August 27, 1950 and made their home on a farm in Almelund where they raised their six children, Joel, Jed, Julie, Joanie, Jenny and Jerry until 1972 when they moved to North Branch.
Although having many little odd jobs throughout her life, Marilyn just enjoyed being a homemaker and she loved her casino adventures.
She was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Marilyn had a special place in her heart for her little sister Sharon, always speaking fondly of her. A special mention to her first granddaughter, Angie, a blessing in disguise, who always knew how to brighten her Grandma's day. And a heartfelt thanks to "Mom's Angel", her daughter Joanie.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie; brothers, Lowel (Ellie), Rodney (Elaine) Harlan (Marge) and sister Beverly (Al) Linder, one grandson, Chris and one granddaughter, Tahlia. She is survived by her children, Joel, Jed (Kim), Julie (Mike), Joanie, Jenny (Joe) and Jerry; her sister, Sharon (Arlen) Johnson and her many grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Sunrise Cemetery in Sunrise, Minnesota.
