She is preceded in death by her son, Todd Duncan VanDevender; great grandson, Liam Wade Hamilton; and her parents.
Pat is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gerald VanDevender of Atlanta, Texas; sons, Doug VanDevender and wife Sarah Jo of Plain Dealing, Louisiana, Brad VanDevender of Queen City, Texas; daughter, Jan Giles of Atlanta, Texas; sisters, Kaye Johnson and husband Doug of Philadelphia, Mississippi, Peggy Nowell and husband Larry Wayne of Nanih Waiya, Mississippi; six grandchildren, Amber Jaynes, Trevor Giles, Miranda Champion, Elizabeth Giles, Meagan Thomas, Tyler VanDevender; ten great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 31, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Atlanta, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Richard Davis officiating.
Visitation will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Hanner Funeral Service.
Interment will be in Springdale Cemetery.
