Mark D. Baker, 51, of Bedford, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Bedford on November 27, 1974, to Michael and Marvetta (Watson) Baker. He married Lisa Renee Baker on March 29, 2023, in Bedford, and she survives.
Mark worked for a tree service and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed razor riding, fishing, animals, muscle cars, trucks and music. He loved his wife Lisa, nephew Triston, Little Phillip and his nieces and nephews very much.
Surviving to cherish Mark's memory is his wife, Lisa Baker; son, Eric Webb; daughters, Tessa (Uriah) Stickney and Tanaea Harkness; brothers, Micka Baker, Phillip Baker, Dustin Baker, Rocky Baker and his twin, Michael Wayne Baker; sister, Pearl Craig; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mark in death were his parents, Michael and Marvetta Baker; and Diane Hanners.
Funeral services for Mark will be Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 11:00am at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Pastor Phil Thorne officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 24th, from 9:30am until the hour of service, also at Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
