Mark Stephen "Moo" Mielke, Appleton, age 65, died Saturday, June 14, 2025. He was born on November 5, 1959, the son of Ronald Francis Mielke and Lenore Ann "Bubsie" (nee Wolff) Mielke.
Moo was a huge NASCAR fan and loved to root for his favorite driver, Mark Martin. He enjoyed duck hunting, golfing, washing and detailing his car, and spending time with his grandkids. Some of his favorite past times were driving to Wild Rose for the weekend with his daughter and the Hoernke family, staying home and watching Walker Texas Ranger with Tamara, and cooking homemade tenderloins and fresh crab legs, washing it all down with an ice-cold freezer glass of milk.
Moo received a Dale Carnegie Courses Highest Award for Achievement. He also received a United States Patent for his invention of a Printed Work Receiving Station for a Printing Press in 1994.
Mark survived by his daughter, Tamara Zwiers of Kimberly; grandchildren: Phoenix (Phoenix Kay) Zwiers, Maylahni Zwiers, and Jaden Revoir, all of Kimberly; siblings: Todd (Kathy Gorz-Mielke) Mielke and Lynn (Glenn) Christel; nieces and nephews: Amanda, Cassie, Madison, and Caden Mielke, Danny Christel, and Jackie Plagemann; special friend, Kathy Lemerand and her family; neighbor, Pete and his family; and his dog and best friend, Walter.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald and Lenore Mielke.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Hank and Karen's Tavern (1937 E. John Street, Appleton) from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Memorials may be sent to Tamara Zwiers (422 E. Third Street, Kimberly, WI 54136) or there will be a drop box at the Celebration of Life.
