He was a devoted father to his four daughters, Michelle Fiveland, Mary Helen (Chad Shaw) Bowman, Mandi (Dan) Siepel, and Mindy Negley. He loved his grandchildren, Tyler Bowman, Danika Negley, Keilie Bowman, Alanna Siepel, Dakota Siepel, Brayden Varnes, Jakob Fiveland, Makenna McGinnis, and Lauren and Lexi Fiveland.Great-grandchildren, Huntleigh and Huxton Bowman. He has 2 brothers, 4 sisters, lots of nieces and nephews who adored him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Kathy.
Mark served in the United States Army.
He worked at Wagner in Havana. He loved to fish, garden, play drums, coached his children's softball team, cook, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Military honors will be held at the funeral home at 1:00 PM. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites will be accorded following services with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Mark will be so missed. I bet he is already planning to play the drums with Jack & friends when he gets to Heaven.
