Mark Mathis Tillman transitioned to his heavenly home on July 8, 2025. A Valdosta native, Mark was born on January 26, 1970 to Young and Penny Tillman. He loved his family and the times shared with each one. Mark was a graduate of Lowndes High School. He attended West Georgia University and Valdosta State University. He was general manager of Stone Creek Golf Club for 30 years.
Mark is survived by his parents, four children, Annabelle Tillman, Tessa Tillman, both of Valdosta, Bethany Rose Tillman of Jacksonville, FL, and Peter Tillman (Allison) of Frankfort Kentucky; brothers Todd Tillman (Brooke), Timothy Tillman (Megan) all of Valdosta; and a sister Kristy Tillman Hunt (Eric) of Macon, GA.
A graveside service will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Valdosta on Monday, July 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse. Online condolences may be shared at www.mclanecares.com.
