Marlene Bullock
Wallingford-Marlene Lorraine Bullock (Stewart), 93, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 19, 2025, in her Wallingford home, surrounded by her family.
She spent a lifetime as a beloved mother, grandmother, and caretaker to many families in the community.
It's no surprise that our most cherished memories are also hers-those filled with family, laughter, holidays, and picnics.
There won't be a Charley Pride tune or a flower that passes by that won't remind us of how much sacrifice, gratitude, and love one person can bring to the world.
Born April 3, 1932, to Carson and Frances Stewart in Wallingford, Vermont, Marlene was one of eleven children. She is survived by her siblings Anna Stewart (Wade) of Connecticut and Delmar Stewart (Clark) of Vermont. She joins her siblings Elwood, Malcolm, Vernon, Stanley, Gordon, Phyllis (Tabor), Stearns, Barbara Ella (Wood), and her beloved husband, Ray.
Marlene and Raymond Bullock Jr. were married in 1956 and together raised five children: Tina Hatch (TJ), Dale Bullock, Dean Bullock (Pam), Tracey Bird (Michael), and Erin Bullock.
Her proudest and most cherished role was as "Gram" to her grandchildren: Britney, Kristin, Zachary, Kelsey, Jocelyn, Gabriel, and Hadley.
Never one for much of a fuss, there will be no formal service held at this time.
If you wish to honor Marlene, a donation to the Rutland County Humane Society or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory would surely make her smile.
Lastly, from her family, endless thanks to VNA Hospice and Aldous Funeral Home, who have provided assistance and grace wherever possible.
