She was born April 11, 1931 in Phillipsburg, KS the daughter of Roy Wesley and Lala Mae (Woods) White.
Marlene was united in marriage to Eugene "Gene" John Romjue on July 28, 1949 in Phillipsburg. He preceded her in death on April 30, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Paula; brother Donald White; and a sister Shirley Conaway.
Survivors include her son Craig of Prairie View; daughter Marla Persinger of Norton; grandsons Brett Post, Kirk Persinger and wife Renee all of Norton; granddaughter Shana Persinger and fiancé Nelson Stone of Great Bend; and great grandchildren Connor, Kason, Henry, Wesley, and Remington.
A private burial will be held in the Fairview Cemetery in Phillipsburg.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Services, Inc. c/o Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, PO Box 563, Phillipsburg, KS 67661.
