Marsha A. Brown (Johnson),82, of Newfane, NY gained her angel wings on June 9th, 2025 after a brief, but hard fought, battle with illness Marsha was born in Appleton, NY on March 18, 1943 to Ruth and Joseph Johnson. On February 24, 1962 Marsha married her best friend, husband and soulmate, Alexander "Al" Brown and they were the epitome of "Once upon a time... Happily ever after". Marsha spent many years as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Pfeiffer foods of Wilson, NY, retiring in 2006. Prior to this, she spent her time traveling the world as a Military Spouse, taking on various roles within the communities of which she lived. Marsha was also a loyal member of the Eastern Star within the Charlottesville Lodge for which she joined in March, 1970 and served as Matron for 9 years. Marsha was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a pillar to our family, cherishing every moment spent with loved ones. She was met at the gates of Heaven by Al, along with her parents Joseph and Ruth and several siblings: Julie, Alice, Shirley, Sharon, and Will. She is survived by her two sons and daughters (in-law), Alexander Brown, Jr. (Elizabeth) and Douglas Brown (Joann). Along with three grandchildren: Mara Brown-Johnson (Marques), Aaron Brown (Erin), Richard Brown (Kayleigh), two great-grandchildren: Jaelynn Roberts, Jaida Roberts and a bonus great-grandchild: Eli Johnson. As well as four remaining siblings: Jim (Kim) Johnson, Dwight (Karen) Johnson, Elaine (Charlie) Dobbs, and Harvey (Glenda) Johnson, along with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Marsha will continue to be remembered as the Matriarch to the Brown family and for her unconditional love for those around her. Marsha's kindness, patience, and unwavering love for others will forever be unmatched and will continue to leave a never ending hole within this world. To know Marsha was to love Marsha and her presence was and will continue to be held in gratitude by those she has left behind. We are deeply saddened by such a tremendous loss, but we find peace and comfort in the reunification of her and her beloved soulmate. Until we meet again.
