Marvin E. Taylor, 66, St. Marys, WV, passed away Friday, June 20, 2025 at home surrounded by family. Born in St. Marys, WV, on January 6, 1959, he was a son of the late Chelsie and Juanita Templeton Taylor. He was a 1979 graduate of St. Marys High School, was a welder for Precision Inc. and later for Williamstown Fabricators. He loved the outdoors, being at his barn, staying in the holler, working in his garden, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Marly (Anthony) Roberts; one son, Louis "Bub" (Amy Childers) Taylor; three grandchildren, Layne Roberts, Kinslee Barber, and Khloee Taylor; two brothers, Norval Taylor and Denzil Taylor; five sisters, Nancy (Bryon Powell) Binegar, Leota (Lonnie) Beaver, Naomi (Paul) Dottillis, Loretta Patterson, and Jessie Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Myrtle Dalrymple; sisters-in-law, Frances Taylor, and Regina Taylor; and brothers-in-law, Jim Binegar, Jack Dalrymple, Jim Patterson, and Doug Wilson.
