Marvine E. Wolford, 80, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Sunday February 15, 2026, at Centerpoint Medical Center. She was born August 23, 1945, in Marshall, Missouri.
Marvine was preceded in death by her parents Fredrick W. and Edna V. Boedeker, grandson Caleb W. Hines and beloved husband James W. Wolford.
Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters Jean A. Harris and Lisa R. Kercher; six grandchildren: Christopher R. Smith, Megan A. Smith, Amanda K. Jordan, Helen Bui, Brett P. Harris, and Madeline F. Harris; six great-grandchildren: Isabella Jordan, Myles Jordan, Julian Bui, Quinn Bui, Dorothy Smith and Blair Harris; she is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Marvine will always be remembered as a beloved wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.
