The Sweet Chariot swung low for Mary Beth Arnoff, age 96, of Crossville Tennessee on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Life Care Center of Crossville. Mary Beth was a devout Christian and has gone to meet her Maker. She will no doubt be welcomed with open arms. She was a truly good human being. She will be missed. 

Mary Beth was born on July 14, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois; daughter of Richard B. Singer and Louise Singer. Mary Beth spent the largest part of her life in Chicago and the surrounding area. She moved to live with her daughter, Gail, in Crossville TN in 2013. 

She is survived by her three children, Gail Zydlewski (George Schlenker) of Crossville TN, William Schallerer of Joliet IL, and Donald Schallerer of Portland OR; and three stepchildren, Cheryl (Kenneth) Pasquariello, Rob Arnoff, and David Arnoff. Too numerous to mention by name are her nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. 

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Richard B. Singer and Louise Singer, as well as her husband Robert Arnoff. Mary Beth was the last remaining of her three younger siblings, Adrienne McGrath, Richard B. Singer, and Thomas T. Singer
