To the family of Mary Blackburn,
Please accept my condolences on your tremendous loss. I cannot imagine the emptiness that Mary´s passing has left in all of your hearts. Mary was am extraordinary lady, as I am sure that no one knows more so than each of you.
Mary, my MTS office mate. How lucky was I to share an office with you! Your infectious joyful laugh, the way your eyes twinkled when you smiled, and that singular "Mary skill" you had of making everyone feel like they were wrapped in love and warm acceptance. I always felt somehow safe and taken care of when you just simply walked in the room. You had that nurturing quality in spades. It´s no wonder that you were a loving, capable, caring, and effective nurse.
I know how much you loved your family. I will forever remember you answering your cell phone, "Hi Porge" or "Hi `Em" or "Hi Jake." No matter what was happening in the office, her whole affect changed to joyful at the sound of your voices. I know that she was over the moon about her grandbabies. They were everything to her.
I learned a lot from you, Mary and feel grateful to have shared the time together that we did. See you on the other side.
Rest Well.

Dearest Mary,
I hope you know how much you were loved by everyone at M.T.S. I always thought of you as more than a colleague, but my friend. My heart is broken at the reality that you´re gone. I will always feel blessed to have known you, if only for a little while. You will be forever missed. Sleep well and be at peace.
