Mary "Nancy" Blagdon, 86, passed away peacefully at her home on July 13, 2025. Born on October 11, 1938, in Jacksonville, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Alfred James and Louise (Kielbasa) Blagdon.

Nancy was a farm girl at heart, known for her deep love of animals and the simple joys of country life. She found happiness in horseback riding, quilting, antiquing, canning vegetables, and tending to her flower garden. Though she lived a hard life, she was a strong woman who gave a lot of heart-always tender, kind, supportive, and caring to others. She was a devoted Christian and believed strongly that God has a plan for everything.

She is survived by her significant other, Benjamin T. Rousseau; her children, Mary L. Rousseau and John T. Rousseau; her cherished granddaughter, Amelie Davis Rousseau; her beloved cat, Butterscotch; and many extended family members and dear friends. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Arlene Blagdon McKinnis, Caroline Blagdon, William Blagdon, and Barbara Knight.

Friends and family are called to visit on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 3 PM - 5 PM at McIntire-McCooey Funeral Home, 301 Main St, South Berwick. A Memorial Service will follow immediately at 5 PM at the funeral home. The family would like to extend an invitation to a gathering at the Garage at The Governor's Inn in Rochester following the services.
