Mary Linn (Davis) Botkin was born December 12, 1957, in St. Charles, Missouri. She was the daughter of George and Martha (Mondy) Davis, and sister to her brother Doss. Mary grew up in Salem and graduated in 1975 from Salem High School.
After high school, Mary furthered her education obtaining her bachelor's degree in business through Southwest Baptist University. Her working career as an intake coordinator in the healthcare industry was something she took great pride in.
Mary's greatest joy came from spending time making memories with her family. She was the proud mother of three daughters: Ashlee, Aubree, and Britta. She cherished her role as grandma to her six grandchildren, Kaden, Keegan, Tayah, Sylas, Deliah, and Joellinn and was looking forward to the arrival of Kolby. Her grandchildren truly were the apple of her eye.
Mary had an outgoing personality, lived life to the fullest, and loved swimming at the lake. She was a woman of faith, family, and friends. These were the most important aspects of her life.
Mary departed this life on July 12, 2025, in Rolla, Missouri, at the age of sixty-seven years. She is survived by her loving mother: Martha Davis of Salem, MO; daughters: Ashlee Botkin of Salem, MO, Aubree Rable of Salem, MO, and Britta Botkin of Salem, MO; brother: Doss Davis and wife Karen of Republic, MO; grandchildren: Kaden, Keegan, Tayah, Sylas, Deliah, Joellinn, and Baby Kolby on the way; special friend: Tony Lenhardt; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death was her father: George Davis.
Mary will be remembered for her kind heart. She was always willing to help those in need. Her legacy will live on in those who loved her most.
Celebration of Life for Mary Linn (Davis) Botkin was held Saturday, July 19, 2025, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. Special Poem was read by granddaughter Tayah Terrill. Song selections played were "Heaven Let Your Light Shine Down", "Dancing In The Sky", and "Train Train". Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
