Full Obituary
Mary A. Brandmeyer, age 75, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Aviston Countryside Manor. She was born August 30, 1949, in Highland, a daughter of the late James and Marie (nee Meziere) Alemond.
Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving daughter, Alicia Hooten of Belle, MO; her cherished grandchildren, Collin (Tristan Juenger) Barrett, Briar (Leila Zukanovic) Hooten, Kaleb Hooten, Cecilia (Landon Brown) Hooten, Layla Proctor, and Chloe Lancaster; and great-grandchildren, Aria Lynn Barrett, Bonnie Ann Barrett, and Gia Rose Brown.
She is also survived by her dear siblings, Thelma (Jim) Litteken of Trenton, Margaret Riesenberg of Florida, Jim (Pam) Alemond of Trenton, Tom (Janel) Alemond of Trenton, Mike (Mitzi) Alemond of Alabama, Theresa Makowski of Orlando, FL, John (Terri) Alemond of Tennessee, Cheryl (Carl) Strackeljahn of Highland, Patricia (Patrick) Rossi of California, and Lori Alemond of Highland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Nathanael Brandmeyer, and brothers-in-law, Don Riesenberg and Greg Makowski.
Mary dedicated many years of her life to her work as an office manager in a doctor's office, where her compassion and attention to detail left a lasting impact. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Trenton, where her faith and warmth touched those around her.
Mary found joy in life's simple pleasures-gardening, crocheting, working on puzzles, and especially traveling. But her greatest happiness came from spending time with her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton. Interment will follow at Trenton Cemetery.
A memorial gathering will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at Moss Funeral Home in Trenton.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Alicia Hooten) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 105 S. Main St. Trenton, IL 62293, who is serving the family.
