She passed away surrounded by a loving family and relatives from around the nation, checking in on her daily. Mary (Mom, Maw Maw, Aunt Mary) was a powerful force in our family. Her love of family was a great source of comfort to those of us close to her. She could always be counted on for support and perhaps a word of advice.
She was deeply grateful for all the love and support she had received over the past few years. She was a dedicated citizen of the United States. She told everyone how glad she was to live in the United States of America, and we were blessed to live here. Her legacy lives on in her son, daughter, four granddaughters, one grandson, and two great-grandsons.
One of the family's favorite memories is when all the nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends would gather at her lake house, and she would host the entire weekend. Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner, making lifetime memories for us all. She was loved dearly and will be missed.
