Mary was born on September 18, 1929 in Elbert, Texas to Walter J. and Ella Mae McCarson Timmons. She had worked as Credit Manager for Dillard's Department Stores in Fort Worth, Texas and Phoenix, Arizona for many years.
She was a Baptist and she especially enjoyed singing in the choir at her church in Phoenix and at the Villas on Bear Creek. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter J. and Ella Mae Timmons; brothers: Gordon, Walter, and Mac Timmons; and sisters: Audrey Timmons and Ima Faye Gardner.
She is survived by her sons: John Eric Duncan and wife Susan and James Brian Duncan and wife Diane, all of Graham; daughter: Donna Duncan Stengle and husband Eric of Southlake; 8 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
