Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Whitley Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia, with Elder Edward McIntyre officiating.
Mrs. Sims was born August 17, 1937, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Waldo Henderson Ewing & Mary Grace Piper Ewing McEachin. She was a 1955 graduate of Irwin County High School and earned her Bachelors degree from the University of Georgia in 1959. She worked in real estate and property management.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Christopher & Rebecca Goodrich; grandsons: Matthew & Morgan Goodrich and Daniel Goodrich; a sister, Kay Ewing Smith; and a sister-in-law, Sonya Ewing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Billy Ewing and Edgar Malone "Gator" Ewing; and a sister, Norma Ewing.
Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, is in charge of arrangements.
