Mary Sue Hicks Harcrow age 76, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025. She was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Carl and Nellie Weaver Hicks. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Northwest Georgia area. She was a former employee of Fort Oglethorpe Nursing Home, where she worked as an CNA. Mary was of the Christian faith and a member of Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, Walker Texas Ranger and COPS. She was an avid TRUMP supporter and proud of it. She also enjoyed bowling and was passionate about rescuing abandoned dogs. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: James Harcrow, daughter: Lisa Kennedy and sister: Janie White. She is survived by her children: Mickey (Angela) Kennedy of Pine Grove, WV, Pamela (Alexander) Naranjo of Tunnel Hill, GA, Gregory Kennedy of Varnell, GA, sister: Ruth Hill of Hixson, TN, thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm and Friday from 10:00 am until the service. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 2:00 pm – Friday – July 18, 2025 with Rev. John Feagans officiating. Arrangements by W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Homes – Fort Oglethorpe Chapel.
