Born in Starlight, Indiana, passed away in New Albany, Indiana.
Mary Helen Hunt, age 100, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, in New Albany, Indiana. Born on December 4, 1924, in Starlight, Indiana, Mary lived a long and full life rooted in love, faith, and service.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward G. Hunt; their first-born son, Edward G. Hunt, Jr., who passed away shortly after birth; her parents, Thomas and Mabel Fenwick; seven brothers; three sisters; and her son-in-law, Timothy M. Morrison.

Mary found joy and purpose in work and in serving others. She considered both to be her hobbies and pursued them with humility and dedication. She was known for her unwavering generosity, always giving freely of her time and energy. Whether offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply being present, Mary lived her life as a quiet and steady force of compassion.
Her family greatly appreciates the loving attention and care provided by her niece, Connie Fenwick, as well as the staff of Green Valley Care Center and Gentiva Hospice. Their kindness and support during Mary's final days will never be forgotten.
