She was born January 19, 1940 in Santa Maria, California to parents Edward and Elsie Weisz. They were fruit picker and packers up and down the Western region. After Mary was born they came home to Mulino, Oregon.
Mary and her sister, Joyce, attended school in Canby; graduating from Canby High in 1956. She married Jerry Franz and had two children. They divorced in 1964. Her second marriage was to Raymond Jackson who brought three girls into the fold. This new family lived in Beavercreek, Oregon before moving to Bend, Oregon. Ray and Mary moved to Molalla, Oregon and Mary lived there until Ray passed in 2006. She moved to McMinnville, Oregon.
She enjoyed travel, taking many trips with friends and family. Also, gardening and camping were favorite pastimes.
She is survived by children; Darlene (Doug) Eshelman, Clint (Judy) Franz, Connie Jackson, and Sherrie (Kevin) Irwin, and many grandchildren.
