Mary Alice Fowler was born April 2, 1925 in Ovid, a daughter of Walter and Lela (Sisco) Fowler. On March 28, 1942 she married Laverne Janes. Mary enjoyed sewing, flowers, crafting and volunteering at Pleasant View. She was well liked by everyone who knew her and was willing to help anyone in need.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Sharon Dowen, Terry Sue (Jerry) Weeden and Virginia Schmidt; several, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Laverne Janes; 15 siblings; parents, Walter and Lela Fowler.
Memorial contributions in Mary's name are suggested to the Cystinosis Foundation. Online condolences may be shared at www.watkinsfuneralhomes.com
