Dale Hafford Obituary

Presque Isle – Dale H. Hafford, 73, passed away on October 29, 2025, with his loved ones by his side. He was born on October 9, 1952, to Alfred and Bernice Hafford.
Dale was a man of quiet strength, steady hands, and a loyal heart. He married the love of his life, Sherry (Trecartin) Hafford, and together they shared 54 years of devotion, laughter, and family. He was a proud father to his daughter, Stacey (Hafford) Robinson, and his son, David Hafford.
He is also survived by his brother, Alfred "Doug" Hafford; sisters Irene Jarvais, Florence Kennedy, Joann Doody, and Angel Murchison; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will remember his humor, honesty, and willingness to lend a hand.
Dale was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Bernice; brothers Roger and Eldon; and sisters Mary, Vera, Ethel, and Jeanine.
A hard worker all his life, Dale started out at Beaulier's Hardware before beginning a 33-year career at Columbia Forest Products, where he retired with the respect of his coworkers and friends. He also served his community as a dedicated member of the Presque Isle Volunteer Fire Department.
Outside of work, Dale found peace in the woods and on the water. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who valued the simple joys of nature, a good day's work, and the company of those he loved.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate doctors and nurses at Northern Light ICU and the House of Comfort for their care and kindness.
