Mary Odegaard Obituary

Mary Evelyn Odegaard, age 89, left this world to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Visitation will be held on Monday July 7, 2025 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Chapel of Angels 1430 Thornton Street. Graveside Service to be held on Tuesday July 8, 2025, 10:00 am at Hollene Cemetery 451 Curry Road 36 with Pastor Matthew Odegaard officiating. Billy Wayne Odegaard, Trevor Owen, Dusty James Odegard, Dusty J. Bass, Jason Davis, Cody Fabela, Brad Craven will serve as pallbearers.
Mary was born on February 26, 1936, to Gene Sagely and Jesse Maude (Osborn) Sagely in Hollene, NM. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she worked in the nursery for over 25 years and was employed by Eastern New Mexico Food Bank for over 12 years.
Mary is survived by her children; Marie (Bob) Black of Clovis, NM, Barbara (Jerry) Walker of Charleston, IL, Pat Odegaard (Brad Cravin), Lyle Cattrell all of Clovis, NM, Curtis Cattrell (Renee Kerz) of Charleston, IL, Johnny Wayne (PJ) Odegaard, and Roger (Paula) Odegaard all of Clovis, NM, grandchildren; Wayne (Johanna) Plummer of Hendersonville, TN, Charolette (Wes) Davis of Charleston, IL, Kristy Cattrell (Jason Davis) of Clovis, NM, Billy Wayne (Amy) Odegaard of Levonia, MI, Zabrina Cattrell, Cambry Odegaard (Dusty Bass), Amber (Trevor) Owen, all of Clovis, NM, Dusty James (Michala) Odegaard of Texico, NM, Rustilynn Cattrell of Altamont, IL, and Matthew Rikky Odegaard of Clovis, NM, great grandchildren; Carley (Cody) Fabela of Canyon, TX, Dylan Coffey of Charleston, IL, Austin (Alyssa) Adams of Alaska, Christian Adams of Levonia, MI, Samuel James Bass of Clovis, NM, Grant Odegaard, Josie Odegaard both of Texico, NM, Kaylee Owen of Clovis, NM, Eva Marie Plummer of Hendersonville, TN, Jonathon Reed, Jersey Reed both of Clovis, NM, and Jaxon Delaney of Altamont, IL, and great-great grandchildren, Axel Adams and Tyler Adam both of Alaska.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Gene and Jesse Sagely, brothers; Jerry Allen Sagely, Billy Sagely, Johnny Sagely, and Gordon Sagely, sister; Bertie Jean Sagely, husband; Wayne "Bill" Odegaard, granddaughter; Rikki Ann Brazell, and first husband; Wes Cattrell.
