Mary Elizabeth Oliver, 88, of Locust Bayou, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior, and her husband, Wesley that she so dearly missed and loved, Tuesday July 29, 2025.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Oliver; her mom and dad, Elijah and Erma Burke; sister, Mildred Parker; niece, Karen Goodner; granddaughter, Christian Oliver.
Survivors are Gina (Ronald) Stringfellow of Locust Bayou, Bub (Debbie) Oliver of Locust Bayou, Sissy (Chris) Wallace of El Dorado; grandson Michael (Brittany) Stringfellow of Norphlet, Jason (Mariah) Wallace of Roswell, GA; great-grandchildren Jordan and Savannah of Norphlet, granddaughter Melody (Keith) Grice of New Edinburg; great-nephews Brandon of Magnolia and Christopher Goodner of Locust Bayou; great- grandchildren Hanna Sturgis and Brayden Pennington; great-grandchildren Brair and Andrew Wallace; great-great nephew Joseph Goodner.
Many thanks to the nurses and staff of Hudson Nursing Home in El Dorado for the love and care they gave our Mother during this time, and to a special nurse and friend, Angela Boone.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Lakeside Cemetery with Rev. Don Phillips officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
