MARY C. PIPALA (BURKE)
Age 67 of Monee, passed away on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 at her home.
Mary is survived by her loving family, husband, Greg Pipala, sons, Phil (fiancé Tanya Liedtke) Pipala, Nick (fiancé Kathy Bailey) Pipala, grandson Andrew Pipala, brother in-law, Jeff (Sue) Pipala and beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William & Loretta Burke (Forst), son, Brad Pipala and brother Dan Burke.
Mary was a volunteer for “TCF” The Compassionate Friends and retired from CBRE after 15 years of service. She loved her Irish heritage; close friends, family, traveling and especially attending her grandson Andrew’s baseball games. Mary also was a Chicago White Sox fan and animal lover.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Thursday, January 9th, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services Friday, January 10th, 2025 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue, Mokena, IL 60448 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Alsip IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Make a Wish Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
