Mary is survived by her daughter, Nena Johnson and husband, Chris of Mount Vernon, Illinois; grandson, Walker Rightnowar of Bluford, Illinois; sister, Peggy Howard and husband Gene; brothers, John Furby and wife, Ellen of Huntsville, Alabama and Jerry Furby and wife, Marcia of Clarksville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her infant son, Dallas Burney and husband, David Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois with Mr. J. Howard Kraps officiating. Interment will follow.
