Mrs. Mary Lue Thomas passed away peacefully early Monday morning July 14, 2025, at home surrounded by two of her daughters. She was born in Midway, Georgia on August 13, 1939, to the late John Singleton and Carrie Bacon Singleton. She was educated in the Liberty County School System. She was married to the late John Thomas, Jr. She was a member of Bethel AME Church in Hinesville, GA. Mrs. Thomas was a proud and resilient woman who lived her life through unshakable faith, enduring strength and a deep love for her family. She dedicated her life as a nurturing mother, grandmother, and trusted friend. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her children, Cynthia (William) Moore of Mobile AL, Charlayne Thomas of Hinesville, GA, Chuckie (Keri) Thomas of Virginia Beach, VA, Sandy (Julius) Frazier of Hinesville, GA, Kathleen Thomas of Allentown, PA, Barbara Pernell of Hinesville, GA; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Singleton of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, Melissa Baines, Stacey Porter, Kelly Thomas, Ashley Frazier, Whitney Thomas, Julius Frazier, Jr, Brandon Thorne; six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to cherish her memory. We say goodbye to an extraordinary woman who life was a blessing, and we honor her memory of unshakable faith, resilience, and love for family.
