Mary Trometti Obituary
Mary (Gallo) Trombetti, 99, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Berkshire Place in Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent S. Trombetti.
Born in Providence, Mary was the daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Fusco) Gallo.
She dedicated many years of service to the City of Providence School Department, where she worked in the Lunch Program. Mary and her husband liked spending summer weekends in Boston’s North End, enjoying Red Sox baseball, dining, and dancing.
Mary is survived by her three sons: Vincent L. Trombetti and his wife, Isabel; Peter M. Trombetti; and David E. Trombetti and his wife, Donna. She was a proud grandmother to Nicole Marie Trombetti, Lauren Giana Riccio and her husband, Michael Riccio, and Gino David Trombetti, and a cherished great-grandmother to Adrianna Marie Fortin and David Michael Riccio.
She was predeceased by her siblings: Pat, Dick, Frank, Louis, Freddy, Mario, and Joe Gallo, as well as Viola Rossi, Lillian Mancini, and Josephine Piano.
In accordance with Mary’s wishes, her funeral and burial will be private.
