Born in McAlester on February 12, 1953, Mary was the oldest daughter of Eloise (Sennett) and Floyd "Chico" Curtis. Following graduation from McAlester High School & Eastern Oklahoma State College, Mary wed Danny Wilson in 1973. Ventures and adventures as a young family were next. Together they opened a business in McAlester, Danny's Meat Market, where they put their talents to work - Mary with her business and accounting education, Danny with his butcher skills. Daughters Toni and Jodi were born shortly thereafter. When the girls were very young, Mary took a job that would turn into a lifelong career. She began working for the Verner family at Big V Feeds as a bookkeeper, and in doing so learned what a true work family can be. Mary worked very hard, putting in as much time as was needed to get the job done. That commitment to her vocation was as present on her first day of work in 1982 as it was on her last.
Mary wasn't all work and no play though. On any summer day the family could make it to the lake, you would find her floating on a raft, holding a book and a ski belt because no matter how much she loved the water she couldn't swim very well. She loved amusement parks, & would gladly go along with the girls no matter which ride they chose. Mary was an avid reader, made beautifully decorated cakes for friends and family, and could sew or crochet practically anything as long as you didn't need it right away.
Years later, Mary met her forever love. Rick Sartor and his children: Tabatha, Tosha, and Rainey, welcomed her into their family on September 6, 2001. Since then, Mary's blended family has continued to grow with the addition of spouses, grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Mary and Rick made many lasting memories together traveling, spending time with their loved ones, and watching the children they both love so deeply grow and start families of their own.
Mary Jane (Curtis) Wilson will be greatly missed. She leaves behind a legacy of love, and for that we will be forever thankful.
She is survived by her fiancé, Rick Sartor of Ashland; children: Toni and Joey Schwarz of McAlester, Jodi Wilson of McAlester, Tabatha and Matt Weeks of McAlester, Tosha Sartor and Brian Soto of Lubbock, Texas, Rainey and Laycee Sartor of Stuart; grandchildren: Garrett Wilson, Hannah Schwarz and Gavin Mordecai, Baylee Weeks, Carter Schwarz and Lainey Sartor; great grandchild: Gatlin Mordecai; sister: Joyce Curtis of Midland, Texas; and her daughters' beloved father: Danny Wilson of Muskogee.

I´m so very sorry for Mary´s passing. We had lots of conversations since we shared an office for so many years. I have called her many times since I retired, many times to just catch up with how things were going. I will miss her too. I know all of you will miss her terribly. I´m sending my prayers that God will comfort you as only he can. I love you all. Charlene Thompson
