Mary Isabelle Wilson passed away peacefully at EIRMC in Idaho Falls on July 18, 2025.

Mary was born on September 25, 1953, in the Eaton Maternity home in Shelley, Idaho. She was the daughter of Willard (Bill) and Verna Mary Johnson. She was the fourth of six siblings. Mary attended school in Firth, Idaho, and graduated in 1971.

After graduation, Mary worked at Sears, attended beauty school, and then went to work at RT French in Shelley.

In 1980, Mary and Michael Gary Wilson were married in Las Vegas, Nevada. They welcomed two daughters, Nicole Dawn and Ashley Danielle.

Mary lived in Las Vegas with her family until 2020, when she returned to Idaho, where she resided until her passing.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wilson, her daughter, Ashley Waggoner, her parents, Willard (Bill) and Verna Mary Johnson; and her brother-in-law, Thomas A. Jensen.

She is survived by her siblings Verna Sharon Jensen of Goshen, Idaho; Willard Craig Johnson of Rigby, Idaho; Angela Marie Boyd (Kelley) of Ammon, Idaho; George Hyrum Johnson (Jacqueline) of Plummer, Idaho; and Brian Lee Johnson (Holly) of Goshen, Idaho. Her daughter, Nicole Dawn Wilson of Las Vegas, Nevada. A son-in-law, Dereck Waggoner of Ammon, Idaho. Grandchildren: Isabelle Waggoner, Aspen, Kaleb, Ryan, Brylie, Kaydence, Jameson, Landon, her dear friend John Munoz of Las Vegas, Nevada, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary’s family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all of those who supported Mary, including Wade Christensen and the staff at 1st Choice Urgent Care & Family Medicine in Shelley, the staff at Broulim’s Pharmacy in Shelley, and the nurses and staff at EIRMC and Aspen Hospice.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2025 at the Presto Ward Building, 792 North 1090 East. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Goshen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
