Maryellen was born on January 28th, 1952 to Dan and Joan Macchione. She attended Frankford High Shool in Philadelphia, and Palm Beach State College in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Maryellen had a long career as a self employed licensed cosmetologist for over 35 years.
Outside of work, Maryellen enjoyed community-based volunteer work, including the Mental Health Association of Palm Beach County, West Palm Beach Police Department, Hospice of Palm Beach County, Resource Depot, Live Doctors Charities, and a term on the steering committee for the Old Northwood Historic district.
Maryellen is survived by her loving husband John Rothrock, brothers Jim and Jerry and their extended families, and was preceded in death by both parents, and younger brother Dan.
