Matthew Smith Obituary
Matthew was born on September 3, 1974 in Upshur County, WV to Burl J. Smith and Janet Riley Smith. Matthew was a Fire Fighter for Southmont Fire Department and volunteered at West Lexington Fire Department. His dream was to be a lifelong Fire Fighter. He also enjoyed the online platform TikTok, entertaining viewers with him and his wife Jessica's comedy of the Crazy Hillbillies.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Piedmont Funeral Home in Lexington, NC, officiated by Pastor Chad Becker.
The family will receive family and friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
Matthew is survived by his parents and wife, Jessica Ann Smith of the home; sons Joshua Schulte and William Smith; sister Pamela Boggs; and two grandchildren Connor Schulte and Waylon Schulte.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to West Lexington Fire Department at 1600 West Center Street Ext, Lexington, NC 27292.
