Maureen Lubic Obituary

Maureen Patricia Lubic, 69, of Wheeling, WV passed away peacefully on June 26, 2025, at her home.
Born on January 10, 1956, in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Anna Marie Keys Davis and the late Edward J. Davis
Maureen dedicated much of her life to special education, serving as an Instructor Assistant at the School of Hope, where she inspired countless students with her dedication and compassion. Her commitment to helping was natural and she was loved by many.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Pat Davis and brother in law Bob Johnson.
Maureen is survived by her loving husband, Chris Lubic, who stood by her side through life's journey. She was the proud mother of Bruce Myers and Sharon (Brian) Wallace, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her siblings, Edward (Rosalie) Davis, Mike Davis, Terry (Lisa) Davis, Jim (Jodie) Davis, Dan (Tammy) Davis, and Cathy Johnson, sister in law Pam Davis, grandchildren Sidney and Brody Wallace and Brantley Myers, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews and cousins, will remember her with affection and gratitude for the countless cherished moments they shared.
Additional survivors include Maureen's best childhood friend Suzie (Krajnyak) Morrison, who helped guide her into her final home with God, as well as her cherished caretakers, her sister in law Jodie and niece Jennifer Alloway.
Beyond blood family, Maureen had a special bond with Christa Stonebraker, Liz Lubic and Roe Hatch Baker.
Family, friends, and those whose lives she touched are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Sunday June 29, 2025 at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Home,- Bellaire Chapel, located at 441 37th Street, Bellaire, Ohio from 4pm until 8pm. Vigil service will be held at 7:30pm.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 30, 2025 at 11am with Father Daniel Huesel as Celebrant. Interment immediately following in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling WV.
Her family extends their heartfelt thanks for the support and love shown to them during this difficult time. Maureen's legacy of kindness and devotion will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew her.
