Max Bobby DeMary was born on April 25, 1943, in St. Paul, Nebraska, to Charles and Esther (Fuller) DeMary. He grew up and received his education in St. Paul, Graduating from St. Paul High School.
He was united in marriage to Karen Niblock on September 28, 1962, in Fullerton, Nebraska. After the marriage they moved around to different states, because Max was a bridge builder. They settled in Chapman, Nebraska, from 1967 to 1981, before moving to Sidney where they have lived ever since. Max worked at Updike Brothers from 1981 to 2006. In 2012 he started working for his son's company Triple D Productions until 2021.
In his free time, Max enjoyed woodworking and other projects in his garage. He loved playing cards with the family and having BBQs, and spending time with his kids and grandkids. He was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who loved his family very much.
Max died early morning Thursday, July 17, 2025, surrounded by his family at his home in rural Sidney, Montana.
Surviving him are his brothers Dick and Paul; twin sister Maxine; three sons Ron (Connie) DeMary, Max M DeMary, and Justin DeMary all of Sidney; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 8 siblings; wife of 56 years Karen DeMary; infant daughter Sharon; son Matthew; granddaughter Alicia; and great-granddaughter Jamie Reese Emly.
