Maxine was born February 21, 1935, in Sugarcreek, Ohio and was the daughter of Homer and Florence (Jentes) Maurer. She married Alfred Boss Jr., and he preceded her in death in 1995. Maxine was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved going to her son's ball games and keeping her own stats. She rarely missed a game traveling with her husband wherever the games were. Later in life she loved sitting in her driveway talking with her neighbors. She also loved going to church.
Maxine is survived by her son Robert (Lorraine) Boss, grandchildren Taylor, Peyton and Courtney.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters Miriam Laubscher and Thelma Deetz.
The family would like to thank the Ohio Eastern Star Home in Mount Vernon for the great care Maxine received. They would also like to thank special friend Jim Davidson for helping her in her later years.

Condolences to Bob and family. Growing up as next door to the Bosses, I knew Maxine Alfred and Bob from the 5th grade on. Max as we called her was a kind, giving, always had time to listen.
