Charlton: Megan M. (Moran) McPherson, 68, passed away on Friday, July 4th, in the Webster Manor Nursing Home, Webster, after a long illness.
She leaves her two children, Matthew D. McPherson of Sturbridge and Melanie R. Rossi and her husband Adam of Southbridge; her five grandchildren, Devin McPherson, Jacoby McPherson, Sydney McPherson, Sadie McPherson and Nicholas Rossi; her former husband, Dale McPherson of Worcester; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Brian Moran and Kevin Moran and three sisters, Paula Granquist, Judy Moran and Carole Donahue. She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Paul H. and Ruth E. (Gallupe) Moran. She was a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
Megan worked as an administrative assistant at Isometix Operations Inc. in Northborough for over 20 years. Megan was a dedicated mother and worked hard to raise her children while attending College.
Megan loved the movie the Wizard of OZ. She also loved the beach, especially loved going to the beach in Falmouth on Cape Cod. Above all she loved spending time with her family.
Calling hours for Megan will be held on Sunday, July 13th, from 2:00 to 4:00pm in the Daniel T. Morrill Funeral Home, 130 Hamilton St., Southbridge, with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 4:00pm. Burial will be private.
