Megan Ann Plant Vail, age 44, a vibrant soul whose creativity and love for life touched everyone she met, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in Hurricane Mills, TN at her residence. She was born on August 8, 1980, in Nashville, TN, to the late Randy Plant and Linda Dyer Parker. Megan's love for music was more than a hobby; it was a companion that accompanied her through every chapter of her life. She was unapologetically her own person. She never shied away from being true to herself. Megan lived a full life, embracing each day with a sense of adventure that was contagious. She was the friend who would convince you to take the road less traveled, to try something new, and to see the world through a lens of wonder and excitement. Her adventurous spirit led her to many beautiful places, but more importantly, it led her to form deep and lasting connections with those she met along the way. Megan's memory will continue to inspire us to live fully, love deeply, and always find beauty in the world around us.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Clayton Vail; daughters, Zoya Waitkus, Further Hagler, and Miracle Hagler; and her brother, Steed Plant.

Along with her parents, Megan is preceded in death by her brother, Rhett Plant and maternal grandparents, Carlos and Lucille Dyer.

A visitation for Megan will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Luff-Bowen Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00 P.M. until the time of service at 4:00 P.M. Officiating the service will be Pastor Garrette Milliken. Interment to follow at Dyer Cemetery in Hurricane Mills.
