Melba was born in Detroit Michigan on June 2, 1930. Daughter of Richard T Haas and Mable M. Haas (Marlow)
Melba is survived by her children Michael Wesley, Gary Wesley (Diana), Jim Wesley, Jeff Wesley, Steve Wesley, Kay Olvin (Terry). 14 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great grandchildren
Preceded in death by her parents Richard and Mable Haas, a brother Richard Haas.
After graduating from Hartland High School Melba worked as a Michigan Bell Operator where she made many lifelong friends. She also provided childcare for many grandchildren as well as several other families. Many children called her Grandma.
Melba's greatest love was her family. She enjoyed reading, knitting and spending time with her family.
A private memorial was held by the family for Melba. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Michigan Humane Society or Susan G. Komen.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always...I loved talking to your mom when I was at work..she was a person everyone could go and talk to..You will be missed Melba..love you..

Mrs. Wesley was a neighbor in Brighton and child care provider for our two daughters. Such a wonderful, kind, loving woman. Always had a smile and kind words. Our sympathy to family and loved ones. It was our pleasure to know Mrs. Wesley.
