Michael Joseph ‘Joe’ Abbruzzese passed away at Brookside Inn Nursing Home in Castle Rock, Colorado on June 9, 2025 at the age of 73.
Joe was born and raised in Detroit Michigan where he started his career as a Detroit Police Officer. He moved to Colorado in 1977 and worked numerous jobs including the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.
Joe is survived by his son Anthony, brother Jerry, nephew and nieces: Carrie (Burnette), Jerry M. Abbruzzese, Jaki (Padley), Denise (Jollie), Kristopher (Kukhahn) as well as several Great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his parents Lois (Bartell), Anthony Abbruzzese and sister Antoinette (Toni) Kukhahn.
