Michael Bishop Obituary

Michael D. Bishop
Born: July 22, 1954 in Chicago, IL
Died: November 10, 2024 in San Antonio, TX
Michael, Age 70, resided in Cary Illinois for over 30 years. Michael was a resident of San Antonio, Texas passing unexpectedly at home. Michael attended Northern Illinois University with a degree in Accounting. He worked on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, was self-employed and managed Cary Country Club for a few years.
Michael was son to Lorraine and Joseph Bishop, a brother to Fred, Bob, Joe and Karen, father to Matthew, Russell, Thomas, Patrick Bishop and Patrick O'Donnell. Michael was Married to Christine O'Donnell at time of death. He was also married to Patricia Bauer Hamer mother of his 4 Boys. Grandfather to Dylan Bronst, Evelyna and Ava O'Donnell and Logan Bishop.
Michael was a hilarious and formidable baseball and football coach, not only for his own son's team, but also for the entire community of Cary, IL. His desire for people's laughter and love came before any of his own needs. If he got you to smile and laugh, that's what made him smile and laugh. We mourn the lack of his presence and hope that we can channel his uncompromising and compassionate values through everyone we touch in our lives. He will live through us forever.
