Sharon, our hearts are with you at this difficult time. We offer our deepest sympathies and condolences. We have been incredibly fortunate and truly blessed to have had you and Mike touch our lives. I wasn´t able to reach out for some time, but God´s grace and goodness will allow Suellen And I to be there with you for Mike´s celebration of life. No one has influenced and affected my life more than my friend Mike.
There´s nothing that would keep me from paying my respects and thanking you and your family for sharing him with all of us. If I may be of service, or assist in any way, please let me know. I would be honored and privileged to serve. Grace and peace Sharon. I look forward to being with you soon.
Love, Paul and Suellen Howard

I have very fond memories of Mike when he was the youth counselor at First Methodist in Orange. He was such a loving kind young man with a group of fun crazy MYF teens. Prayers for his family.

I am sad to receive this news about Mike, my human reaction. But my spirit within leads me to celebrate his life and accomplishments. A deserving servant of God. Rest in Peace my friend. We have nothing but good memories.

Mike Dent was a favorite pastor of the many I have known at Marvin. He was deeply interested in community and when the Texas A&M bonfire fell Nov `99, he welcomed all community and Aggies for a prayer service, which was so needed for our young people and adults, with loss of 12 young people. Never will forget his love - especially in those times of need, he was there. He was a true pastor of his flock. RIP
