Michael S. Kegg "Kegger", born on November 7, 1963, in Cumberland, Maryland, passed away on July 13, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida following a brief illness. He was 61 years old. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Kegg, and his biological father, Joseph Parsons, who passed away when Mike was 2 years old.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, J. Thomas Kegg, Sr.; his siblings: Christine (Kegg) Hamilton and her husband Troy; Monica Kegg; and James (Jamie) T. Kegg, Jr and his wife Krista. Michael also leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Kaila Smith, Rylee White, Luke Hamilton, Chance Kegg, Alaina Kegg, and Addison Kegg. He had many special friends, some who lasted a lifetime (Kevin Hobrock and Jennifer Sweeney).

Mike was a 1981 graduate of Bishop Walsh High School in Cumberland. Most of his adult life was spent in Florida, eventually settling in Jacksonville. He quickly became a die-hard fan of the Miami Hurricanes & Miami Dolphins football teams, and proudly supported them win or lose.

Mike was retired from T-Mobile Corporation.

Mike brought laughter to everyone who knew him. He was quick with a joke or a clever prank. He especially loved practical jokes and could be counted to give 'gag' gifts at Christmas time.

Mike's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A Visitation will be held on July 25, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD. There will be a Mass on July 26, at 10:00 at The Shrine of SS Peter and Paul, Cumberland, MD.

In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to your local animal rescue organization in Mike's memory and pay it forward with a laugh, a joke, or funny story to brighten someone's day.
