Michael "Mikey" Justin Keown, 41, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, in De Queen, Arkansas.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2025 at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.
Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2025 at White's Funeral Home Chapel in Springtown, Texas.
Interment: Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Annis Chapel Cemetery.
Michael “Mikey” Keown, 41, of DeQueen, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in 2025. Born on February 7, 1984, in Fort Worth, Texas, Mikey was a kind-hearted and steady soul whose quiet strength and dedication touched many lives.
.A proud graduate of Springtown High School, Class of 2002, Mikey went on to work for Walmart, where he built a 23-year career marked by loyalty, reliability, and hard work. He was known for his warm demeanor, sense of humor, and his ability to make people feel seen and appreciated, whether they were co-workers or customers. Mikey never met a stranger, and had a way of making others feel like they had known him forever. Mikey would give you the shirt off his back Mikey had a love for his Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Wrestling!
Mikey is survived by his loving mother, Priscilla Brown; his brother, Andrew Brown; his nieces, Alexa Brown, Esmeralda Brown; nephew, Aiden Brown and his devoted aunts and uncles: Debra Keown, Minga López, and Sebastian Lopez. He will be deeply missed by his cousins Ricky Lopez, Patricia Lopez, Chevy Alarcon, and Cheyenne Alarcon, and Josiah Calloway, and many others who knew and cared for him.
.He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Eva and Dave Keown, and nephew Lucas Brown, who no doubt welcomed him with open arms.
Mikey’s life was one of quiet devotion to those around him—a life that reminds us that love, kindness, and loyalty are legacies in themselves.
.Services will be held in Springtown,TX at White’s Funeral Home, and all who knew Mikey are welcome to attend and share memories of his life.
