Michael Lucier Obituary

Michael J. Lucier, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. A resident of Broomfield, Colorado, Mike was deeply cherished by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, dedication, and a remarkable sense of humor.
Born in Davenport, Iowa, on February 2, 1947, Mike spent his early years in the heartland. He attended the University of Iowa, where he earned his bachelor's degree in psychology. After college, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Mike later moved to Broomfield, a place he lovingly referred to each day as "just another beautiful day in Broomfield, Colorado." He worked in the residential construction industry, eventually founding his own business building custom homes. His work left an enduring mark on the community, as did his generosity, warm heart, and ability to make everyone feel valued.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Frances. He is survived by his brother, Robert; his loving wife, Susan; his children, Rob, Elizabeth, Kathryn, and Stephanie; and his eight grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. Mike's kindness and humor touched countless lives in Broomfield and beyond.
Mike's memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the community he so deeply impacted.
A celebration of Mike's life will be held at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church in Broomfield on February 21 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are invited to share memories and honor the incredible life he led. A reception will follow the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
