Michael (Mikey) Loy Pinson, age 73, left this world to be reunited with his Lord at 1:24am, March 13th, 2025.

Michael was born on February 8th, 1952, in Waxahachie, Texas, the son of Kennith Loy Pinson and Helen Hartis Pinson.

He would then marry Donna Cantu on June 6th, 1982 and loved her with all his heart for 43 years.

Michael had a daughter named Leah Pinson. He raised three grandkids: grandson, Michael Dylan Greeson-Pinson; grandson, Jackie Eugene Greeson-Pinson; and granddaughter, Zoey Michelle Greeson-Pinson.

Michael would go to work for Ellis County, as well as a welder for TF-Tiger, and both as a Dock Worker and Taxi driver in Galveston, Texas before retiring in 2008.

In his younger days, Michael was fond of hunting and fishing, going out with his friends and his family, while also enjoying learning and collecting historical items.

Michael Pinson was also a devout Christian, being a part of the Central Baptist Church of Italy, Texas where he was raised most of his childhood.

Remaining to cherish his memory is his wife, Donna Pinson; daughter, Leah Pinson; grandson, Michael Dylan Greeson-Pinson and his wife Arline Greeson; grandson, Jackie Eugene Greeson-Pinson; granddaughter, Zoey Michelle Greeson-Pinson and her Fiance, Isaiah Bernal; great-grandchild, Michael Loy Greeson-Pinson, Jr; sisters: Beth Pinson Norcross and Mary Helen Pinson; aunts: Barbra and Becky, and various nieces and nephews.

Preceding Michael Pinson in death is father, Kennith, and mother, Helen Hartis Pinson, and brother, David Chester Pinson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st, from 6pm-8pm at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
