Michael Alan Spence, age 65, of Branson West, Missouri, passed away December 28, 2024. He was born November 12, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of William and Bettye (Armstrong) Spence. His parents have preceded him in death. Michael was joined in marriage to Kimberly Hudson on January 27, 1996.
Professionally, as an audio engineer, Michael worked with many in the entertainment industry. Whether he was editing sound for a Grammy Award winner or assisting a local up-and-coming artist find just the mix, Michael's love of music, hard work and dedication was evident in his work. When he was not in studio, Michael enjoyed time on the boat he loved at Table Rock Lake. It was his love and passion. He enjoyed many peaceful evenings watching the sun set over the lake. Michael also appreciated rare and unique cars. He had two Merkurs he drove regularly. He will be missed by his family and his friends who shared the lake lifestyle with him.
Michael is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kim Spence of the home; his daughter and her husband, Laci Hudson and Trent Arney of Branson, Missouri; as well as two granddaughters: Adalynn Arney and Elly Arney, also of Branson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
