Roxy Michele Gomez, 55, passed away on June 19, 2025. She was born October 27, 1969 in Littlefield, Texas. A woman of many talents and an even greater heart, Michele lived a life defined by service, joy, and deep connection.
Over the years, Michele held many roles- esthetician, mortician, nurse aide, EMT, and registered nurse. But her true passion was being a labor and delivery nurse. She cherished every opportunity to bring life into the world and to support mothers with compassion and grace.
Michele's joy was infectious. She loved to travel, attend concerts, laugh with her close girlfriends, and spend time with family. She never met a stranger- only new friends waiting to be loved. She was Meme's darling, and to her grandchildren, Casey and Malia, she was their beloved "Meme Chele" Her love for them was fierce, unwavering and full of light.
She would give you the shirt off her back and her last dollar without hesitation. That was just who she was- open-hearted, selfless, and deeply kind.
Michele is survived by her grandmother Beth "Meme" Kelly of Littlefield, Texas, her parents, Ernest Gene & Norma Cotton of Littlefield, Texas, her brother, Bradley Cotton (Ellen) of Shallowater, Texas, her sons, Joshua Jenkins (Jesse) of Silver City, New Mexico, and Nikolas Gonzales (Anisia) of Littlefield, Texas, and her treasured grandchildren, Casey and Malia. Also, Uncle Kirby Kelley (Gay) of Fort Worth, Texas and four nephews and their spouses, one niece and her spouse, two great nephews and two great nieces, and countless others who loved her like family.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Saturday July 5, 2025 at the funeral home.
